Listen: BASECAMP, “Shudder”

SHUDDER

Outside of their fantastically dark take on Sia’s bubbling hit “Chandelier“, hybrid R&B Nashville trio BASECAMP have been relatively quiet since the release of their stellar debut EP a year ago.

But today the rising group relinquished “Shudder”, a beautiful summertime track, which shifts focus from lead singer Aaron Miller’s soulful vocals to bass-thumping, industrialized production at its pinnacle. Last year, BASECAMP landed on our Top 50 songs list with “Emmanuel” and, after hearing “Shudder”, might just find themselves there again in 2014.  (via Stereogum)
