Listen: Chromatics, “Just Like You”

DEAR-TOMMY-575x575

Today, Johnny Jewel, Ruth Radelet, and the Chromatics released the first single off of the band’s follow-up to their acclaimed 2012 project Kill For Love. Titled “Just Like You”, the song is a wavy, slow-rolling ballad that’s just as gorgeous as anything the group has ever done (and that includes one of my favorite songs of all time in “Cherry”.)

The anticipated album, Dear Tommy, will be out in March through Italians Do It Better. Chromatics will be releasing one song a week until then, with Johnny Jewel excitedly having this to say:

I’M SO HAPPY TO SHARE THE FIRST SINGLE OFF OF “DEAR TOMMY” TODAY. GOING TO BE RELEASING A SINGLE A WEEK UNTIL THE ALBUM COMES OUT IN MARCH. I FUCKING LOVE THIS RECORD SO MUCH & I AM LITERALLY FOAMING AT THE MOUTH TO SHARE IT WITH YOU.”
