With monster acts such as Disclosure and Bondax, off-kilter production animals like Lil’ Silva and TEED, and the captivating moodiness of Sohn and Tourist, you’d think it’d be hard to separate yourself as an artist coming from the UK’s bustling electronic/house scene. But somewhere in between all of that madness lies 19-year old Joshua Mooney a.k.a. Wilfred Giroux, a talent that possesses the raw and natural skills of his ass-kicking competition. “U Make Me” functions as the B-Side to his excellent debut “Stronger“, and it’s every bit as invigorating as it’s predecessor.
