Tala‘s excellent offering “Serbia” now has authentic visuals to go along with the song’s utterly striking sound. Along with director Katia Ganfield, Tala traveled to Marrakech across a three day period, bringing along multiple cameras and staying in cheap hostels overnight. By switching back and forth between HD and 90’s camcorder quality, the video vividly captures the city’s bustling culture and distinguished customs in a distinct manner. With hazy, frantic camera direction, the focus is taken off of Tala herself and hones in on the people all around her. It’s pretty cool, check it out above. Tala’s debut EP is out next month on June 2.
