I’ll be the first to admit that when I first heard A$AP Ferg on a microphone, I didn’t think much of him. But since his verse on “Kissin’ Pink” and even his questionable appearance on “Ghetto Symphony“, the Harlem rapper has shown marked improvement. With one of this year’s best tracks in “Shabba“, the slow seduction of Rocky’s fans, and the full support of the rest of A$AP Mob, Ferg finds himself with a ton of momentum going forward. He’ll never appeal to everybody, but Trap Lord should still show us where Ferg stands in a time where Hip-Hop is filled to the brim with talent. Stream the album here.
