STACEY is a Canadian singer hailing from Toronto, whose sound is soaked in the “waterfalls of cathedral reverb”. Confused? Well give the young songstress one listen, and the aforementioned description will make a lot more sense. Equipped with a velvety voice that echoes off of downcast piano keys and hollowed synths, STACEY is able to craft an enticing sound that is highly disarming and sensual. This version of “Calling Me” is just one small showcase of STACEY’s talent, and is part of a mix project that reworked her entire debut EP. I’d say her music deserves your attention, so give it a spin here.
